Administrative LawIf you're not sure what Administrative law is - here's a definition that is bound to fog the meaning:
Administrative law may be broken into several interrelated parts, such as administrative rules, regulations and procedures for government agencies and bodies; the scope of agency authority, in particular individual privacy; and enforcement powers of agencies. It principally deals with the various administrative agencies of the Executive Branch of government and the rules which they have in place for presenting applications to request decisions, and the review and appeal process if you are not satisfied with a given decision. Administrative agencies (state or municipal) perform regulatory functions such as licensing, rulemaking, and enforcing. In Panama, Administrative law practice also deals with the presentation of applications before administrative bodies, such as: Ministry of Economy & Finance, Maritime Authority (such as for concessions over water), National Environmental Authority (ANAM - for permission to undertake certain projects), and the Panamanian Tourism Institute (IPAT). This may also include applications for Commercial licenses (to run a business), liquor licensing applications, social security board, etc. For many administrative applications, it is necessary to be represented by a lawyer, even where the requirements appear to be relatively simple and straight-forward.
