Multiple Entry/Exit PermitsFor the requirements for the Pensionado Visa, please visit this page: Panama Pensioner Visa - Requirements to apply for Pensionado Status. All immigrants to Panama, i.e. persons who have temporary residency (the 3-month "in process" cards) must obtain multiple entry/exit permits if they wish to be able to leave the country during this time. Upon receipt of your residency card (1-year or indefinite) you will no longer have to get the multiple entry/exit permit. Although citizens of some countries are not required to get tourist cards (i.e. pay the $5.00) when they enter Panama, all immigrants must have valid multiple entry/exit permits in their passports when they leave or enter. This applies as much to pensioner as it does to residents of any other class.
If you do not intend to travel, then it is not necessary to obtain this. Please note, however, that the multiple entry/exit permit takes 48 hours to obtain (i.e. two working days). Therefore, it should be obtained prior to any trip overseas. Please remember - we will need:
