Requirements for Craftsmen

Temporarily on hold - unfortunately, the Ministry of Labour and Immigration Department have some details to work out and this visa has been temporarily suspended until further notice.

As with the requirements for Professionals, the information provided by the Immigration Department with respect to Craftsmen and the requirements is sketchy at best.

The principal requirements are that the craftsperson must present are the following:

	Proof that the craft is not limited by the law or Constitution to Panamanian Citizens.
	Proof that the craftsperson is licensed to practice in this area, having the proper training and experience, such as:

Academic diplomas or apprenticeship

Courses attended

Work experience

Clients are recommended to contact us about the paperwork which they intend to present before arriving in Panama, so that we can verify these papers with the Immigration Department and see what further documentation (if any) they will request.
