Panama Concessions Translation Law 2 (2006)

Application for Purchase, Leasing or Concession from Government
- Application addressed to the Ministry of Economy & Finance, which details
the name of the applicant, general contact details, location of the land and
exact description of the area requested
- Resolution of the Board of Directors, authorising the legal representative
to undertake the process
- Notarised Power of Attorney to the lawyers that present the application
- Certificate of Good Standing from the Public Registry which indicates that
the corporation exists, and the details of all officers, directors and legal
representative
- Certificate of Property from the Public Registry, if the plot has title to
any area, where the ownership, metes, area, bounds and liens are registered.
- Original blueprint or map of the lot + copies (7 for Panama & Colon; 3 for
the rest of the country). This survey or blueprint must include, at the
very least, the polygon points of the plot and the geographical location, and
also a description of the process of how this data was processed.
- Description of the area over which the request is made
- Copy of the cédula of the legal representative of the lot.
For Concessions, the following information is also required:
 | What is the purpose of the concession |
 | Environmental Impact Study report (if more than 1 hectare) |
 | Feasibility study (if for a commercial purpose of any nature) |
The above requirements are based on Resolution 62 of the 2nd of April of
2003, published in the Official Gazette 24,780 on April 11, 2003. There
may be further requirements applicable at the time of requesting the concession.
