Panama Corporations - Company Search

When we conduct a company search in the Public Registry, we are able to get the following information:

Registration Numbers	Ficha & Document number, Tax Identification Number
Name of the Corporation
Registration Date
Public Deed number	The information regarding the Public Deed that was filed in the Public Registry with the Articles of Incorporation.
Other information about the Public Deed	Date, the Notary office that certified it, the province in which it was incorporated
Duration & Domicile of the company	Usually corporations are "perpetual" and are domiciled in Panama.
Registered Agent	Registered Agent and we can then find the registered office of the company
Capital	The currency, the amount of the capital, and the terms in which the capital was authorised (par value or no par value, bearer and/or registered shares)
Legal Representative	Whether a specific person or an officer was appointed as the Legal Representative of the Company
Directors	The names of the directors of the company
Officers	The names of the officers and which office(s) they hold
Subscribers	Who subscribed to the Articles of Incorporation

However, we are not able to provide the following information from a company search:

Shareholder register	Panamanian corporations are NOT required to file their shareholder register or any details regarding how the shares of the company have been issued in the Public Registry. This is privately held information.
Good Standing	It is not possible to see in the Public Registry search whether or not the company is in good standing. This information is only available from the Tax Office, for which a separate investigation must be undertaken.
Tax returns or Financial Statements	Companies in Panama are not required to file with the Public Registry annual accounts or any other information regarding their financials, so we are not able to provide any financial details regarding the company.
