Immigration to work Saturdays on pending applications

DELAY. The National Immigration Service Department authorised the administrative staff to work 8 hours on Saturdays, with a view to review and finish in the least time possible the files that are overdue, most of which are applications under the old law.  This measure responds to the demands by the Association of Lawyers Specialising in Immigration Matters, which has been complaining about the delay in the review of visas.
