NOTICE: As of July 1, 2010 our sales tax (ITBMS) has increased to 7% and applies to all services offered by law firms, and will be charged accordingly to clients.

Our fees have been established, taking into account the rules established in the Panama Law Society Rates of Minimum Professional Fees for Lawyers

[year one - immigrant visa] [year three - permanent resident] [Naturalisation]

Year One - Immigrant Visa

Principal Person:

$250.00 Tesoro Nacional application fee
$800.00 Repatriation Deposit
$300.00 Approximate out of pocket expense (medical certificate, notary fees & costs, temporary card (3 months), temporary multiple entry/exit permit (3 months), stamp duty, authentication fees, etc.)*
$1,250.00 Legal Fees
$50.00 Immigrant Card
$2,650.00 Approximate Total

Clients will be requested to provide Gray & Co. with an $1,350.00 prepayment before submitting the immigration application.

Spouse or other Dependent (each):

$250.00 Tesoro Nacional application fee
$800.00 Repatriation Deposit
$200.00 Approximate out of pocket expense (medical certificate, notary fees & costs, temporary card (3 months), temporary multiple entry/exit permit (3 months), stamp duty, authentication fees, etc.)*
$300.00 Legal Fees
$50.00 Immigrant Card
$1,600.00 Approximate Total

Clients will be requested to provide Gray & Co. with an $1,200.00 prepayment before submitting the immigration application.

Because of the Repatriation Deposits, we anticipate that for a couple, the total cost is around $4,200.00, including the fees & expenses.

** Please note that the above fees do not take into account applications that may need to be made before government offices to get the appropriate licenses or certifications confirming that you have the requisite licenses, in order to apply to the Immigration Department.  These fees are charged separately.

Please note that the out-of-pocket expenses are based on the assumption that the client will obtain all authenticated documents in their country of origin, and that we will not be required to send courier packages or documents to the Panamanian Consulate of that country.  If we are required to send documents back to that country of origin, please note that the following additional charges will be incurred:

$120.00 Courier package to the Panamanian Consulate.  Courier package from the Consulate back to Panama.
$30-$100.00 Depending on the consulate, the prices for authentication vary.  The authentication may be anywhere from $30.00 per document up to $100.00 per document.  Where possible, we would try to use Apostille, if it is less expensive.
$10-$50.00 Certificate of Good Standing or other documents.
