Objectives

Gray & Co. (Panama) is dedicated to providing its client with a high quality service and personal attention, as lawyers and legal advisors.  We try to go "the extra mile" for clients who are relocating their assets, businesses and/or family to Panama, as we realise that there are many cultural differences that may affect their adaptation in a new country.    

As we are a small firm, associated with various other independent lawyers, we are selective about the work accepted and the clients we represent.  If we accept to represent you in a legal matter, your work will be done conscientiously and diligently.

This website will hopefully provide you with some insight into our background and specialisation, as well as interests in the legal field.  

Organisation of material:

Material on the website has been organised into the following areas:

  1. Services - this is meant simply to be a brief overview of the particular legal services which are offered by our law firm.  Some of the pages may provide links to more information contained in the resources section.  The principal areas of legal services are corporate law (including incorporations and setting up companies or international business corporations), commercial law, immigration, real estate, and some administrative matters. 
  2. Resources - the principal information has been included in resources, which I have then subdivided into:
    1. Articles & Information - principally articles, with some transcripts of laws which I have had to translate to English in the past or which I have been requested by clients to translate. 
    2. Links - Panama links, lawyers and law firms, boating and yachting resources, and other general links.  This includes a page of "Where do I find?" which will provide you with links to some of the most important pages in our website about Panamanian Corporations, Panama Private Interest Foundations, Estate Planning and Last Wills and Testaments, real estate transactions and due diligence check lists, and pensionado visa applications and benefits. 
    3. News & Views - just some general information and updates regarding Panama and our practice.

The website has also been created in Spanish - since our offices are in Panama, a Spanish-speaking country.  Nevertheless, the Spanish & English portions of the site do not actually mirror each other.  They have each taken on their own life, as information & articles have been included as and when prepared.
